Supplier assessment
WALZEN IRLE GmbH is certified according to ISO 9001:2000. For this reason we regularly rate our suppliers.
Products to affect our quality are:
- Commodities: steel scrap, alloying additions, Fe-alloys, carbon, foundry iron
- Machined Parts: O-rings, "IRLE"-plugs, round steel, forged steel bodies, shells, rogh parts, rings, plugs, roll journals, individualised screws
- Operating supplies for foundry plants: chamotte foundry systems (pipes, funnel, fittings), ladle refractory, resin, hardener, refractory dressing, filter, sand.
- Packages: cases
- Measurement and inspection equipment
These products will be ordered by certified suppliers only. To be certified according to DIN EN ISO 9000 ff, latest version, or to be accredited by VDEH is a must.
For rating our suppliers we use the following categories:
1. Certification according to DIN/ISO
2. Adherence to schedules (delay ratio)
3. Customer complaint (error ratio)
All suppliers will be rated regularly.
The individual result of the supplier assessment will be displayed on our order forms to each supplier.
