Calender rolls are a central factor for the success of a profitable paper production
IRLE rolls are used in all glazing machines and calender types. In glazing machines equiped with two- or more rolls, in super- and soft calenders and in offline or online multi-nip calenders.
The product success of the whole paper machine and lastly the marketability of the product paper, all depend upon the faultless and precise roll shape, even temperature control, surface accuracy and mechanical properties under running conditions.
Being fully aware of these responsibilities, we work in the metallurgy, in the construction and in the machining with specific and continually advancing developing methods and procedures. Our production takes place using the utmost modern technical equipment.

With our technical advisory service we support our customers as early as in planning and new- or rebuilding (Retrofitting) of a calender. For replacement rolls we develop possibilities to optimise the new rolls. According to the customers specifications we precisely recommend technical concepts for rolls and push technical improvements systematically.
We contribute with self-motivation and with independent research and development to the future possibilities of paper-machine concepts, resulting in patents which offer our customers highly developed technologies and provide assured further developments.
