Conventional Calender Rolls
Conventional calender rolls are used as unheated, massive poured or in multi- part rolls with screwed on journals in two- or multi-roll-calender. Calenders of a simple type of construction are sporadically still in use today.
As we - with over 190 years of experience - know these early concepts very well, we carry on manufacturing the needed replacement rolls. As far as the material- and machining side is concerned we often achieve improvement in the wear resistance and the shape accuracy.
Roll Type CalRoll®:
This roll type is offered for unheated applications in two- or multi-roll calendars. Usual roll material: chilled cast iron; quality K, KSC.
