Variable Edge Isolation of Thermal Rolls
As so very often the production influences in paper machines change. We are thinking above all of the production with dissimilar strip widths or of the application of thermal rolls with different heating temperatures.
To keep optimal behaviour in the calender, when the production conditions change, an individually adjustable edge isolation of the roll is the logical consequence. We make this possible.We have developed a system which enables the edge isolation to be variably adjusted in the width without having to dismantle the roll. One hand manipulation is all it takes for the necessary adjustment.
