Thermal Roll Concepts
Depending upon the paper machine-/calender construction and production process we offer a metallurgic and constructive specifically modified thermal roll. For this we have developed fundamental construction principles which are applied successfully in many places.
MonoTherm 90®: This roll type was designed for modest thermal performance and is normally used in two- or multi-roll-calenders. Usual roll material: chilled cast iron; quality K.
MonoTherm 120®: This roll type was designed for modest thermal performance and is normally used in two- or multi-roll-calenders and super calenders . Usual roll material: Chilled cast iron K; Chrome steel quality KSTV.
DuoTherm 200®: The DuoTherm 200® is a thermal roll designed for maximum thermal performance, high surface temperatures and mechanical demands.
If production- and machine parameters demand to expand the limitation performance of these concepts we recommend to use our S-Technologie.
