Rolls for the Paper Industry
More than 190 years ago, the first chilled cast iron rolls were manufactured for the paper- and cardboard industry.
WALZEN IRLE stands for technical competence in the manufacturing of rolls for calenders of paper machines from all manufacturers and models. Since 1820 we have purposefully and continually developed our, in the meantime world-wide, leading knowledge in the areas of standard rolls and heated rolls for conventional calenders, soft calenders, super calenders and multi-nip-calenders. We are an original parts manufacturer (O.E.M.) for all calender types in use.
Today we can offer top-technology for this area, whereby the material- and from the construction side everything is individually suited to the respective calender design. We have at our disposal roll concepts for the complete production spectrum of the paper industry: graphical paper, cardboard- and packaging paper, tissue paper and special paper.
